Well our clients seem to be happy with the resveratrol which they are taking.

From a personal standpoint, I think my hair is going darker…but slowly. I am going to tweek the formula

on the next run and see if we can speed things up.

I can confirm also that we have now signed off Mrs S and Mrs R who both had alopecia totalis ( no hair on the head)

and who now have lovely heads of full hair.

Great news, and on that high note, all that leaves me to do is wish all the people who take the time and trouble to read this blog, a very happy Christmas and the best for 2010.

Well I am able to report that my beard is slowly getting darker particularly around the mouth area.

My clients who are on it are saying to me that they think it is better than any day or night cream, and when you think of it that is not surprising as it would be repaired  from the inside out rather than outside in.

it is incredible what is happening to me.

Well I have been taking our new resveratrol with TN25 for 2 weeks now. I can report that my grey beard is getting a little darker and my facial skin is softer. I also had bags under my eyes and they seem a lot less noticeable. We are photographing my facial features every week  so that we will have visual evidence as we go along. Initially I felt a huge surge of energy which continued until the 5 th Day when I felt quite lethargic. This I put down to the detox effect because the next day I was back to full energy. My clients who have also been on it a week report similar changes.

Well I now have resveratrol in stock and the demand for it seems high.

I have started taking it myself and the initial response I got was tremendous energy. I was able to do jobs that I just couldn’t be bothered with before.

I am very excited about the mixture of resveratrol and our famous TN25 and I am keen to see where we can go with this.

I have taken photographs from all sides of my face and beard and we shall see if there is any darkening of the hair.

I am very very excited that we have now finshed the basic research into Resveratrol.It has good testimonials and the pharmacology on anti ageing and anti cancer seem well noted. I of course want to see how it affects hair colour. Stop it going grey or to see if we can delay it.
We have formulated what I think is going to be an incredible start and we should have it available by the end of June.

At Eucaderm we are receiving more and more testimonials from people who are very satisfied with their treatment which is nice. But when you think about it, they are a miniscule minority with the amount of people who are losing their hair globally. There seems to be an air of reluctance on their part. I think it is crazy for these people to be spending relative large amounts of money on thickeners and extensions but yet they are not looking after the base material…..the hair.

If this situation does not change, we will find ourselves in a situation when we will not have much hair at all and then the use of these useless products will not be needed anyway. Why do I say this? Well I started out my career as a hair stylist and I remember very clearly mums bringing in their toddlers to have their pony tails cut off. I would handle these thick pony tails and more or less had to saw through them before giving mum her piece of hair which she would jokingly say she would keep and make into a hair piece. Now there is a shortage of kids with good thick hair. Oh yes you can find them but if you think about it for a while, you will see that they are the minority. In less that 40 years the hair has atrophied and it is difficult to find someone who has a really thick pony tail. If it has thinned down that much, what will the next generation have and the next and the next. With the hair becoming thinner with each generation it does not bode well and yet for a few pounds, that person could have a consultation at Eucaderm and just see what could be done. For the cost of a hair do in London, he or she could really tackle the problem once and for all.

I am often asked what is stress?

Well a helpful definition of stress is ” the perceived imbalance between individuals made on an individual and that persons ability to cope with those demands”. Or in other words the difference whether true or false, between the way you think you can deal with your problems and the way you actually can deal with them.

Stress promotes sebum flow which can make dandruff worse, it increases hair loss and it affects everybody all the time. Just living in a society that demands so much of us and asks us to conform to a way of life that is unhealthy is stressful. Don’t forget your hair is an important  barometer of what is going on in your body and you must take notice of it.

It is always a joy to see the readership level growing on my stats. I know that a lot of you are worried about your hair and more and more of you are reading my blog so a very big thank you for that and I will try to keep coming up with the solutions to your problems.

So today I thought as I had written a little bit about shampoos, I would go delve into what happens chemically when you use a shampoo.

The molecules that go to make up shampoo have been specially treated and are quite large as molecules go. Each has a head and a tail and each of these has their own particular function.The tail attracts the dirt, grease, debris and oil but repels water, and the head has a strong attraction for water, but repels dirt. Water alone is unable to clean hair because water molecules are unable to pull the debris free from the cuticle.

What actually happens is when we wash our hair and massage in the shampoo is that grease and dirt is rolled together into small globules this reduces their contact with the cuticles of the hairs. These globules then stick to the tails of the shampoo molecules and as the tails are bonded to the molecule’s heads they are then washed out during rinsing when the heads cling to the water molecules. By working together as a team, both parts of the molecule do a good job of cleansing the hair and that is why shampoo works so effectively.

Thats fine as it stands but why arent all shampoos the same. Well basically they are but when you think that most shampoos are made by the big companies namely Proctor and Gamble and Lever Brothers who make a high percentage of all our “soaps” you can see where it goes wrong. They are making a product for the mass market and one that comes under the heading “Hair Care”. When you have a problem with your hair or scalp, there is noone to turn to.

It needs specialist knowledge and time to nurse your hair back to health none of which these companies have time for. Which is a shame because if they would just think for a minute about what is really happening to people worldwide they might stop and listen to people like myself who genuinely have a big contribution to make, particularly in the world of formulation and application. It would not take much for one of these big companies to think well yes there is a problem and just maybe we can do something to help.

Well I hope the text about shampoos makes you stop and think about what is going on in the world of REAL hair and scalp health and I hope it makes you think that advertising does not always give you the best product for your hair.

I also hope that in the next few weeks I will be able to give you more information about what you can do for your hair to ensure you that when your hair is lovely and soft and full, your confidence increases and after all that is what we need in thes difficult days.
