It is possible to lessen the chances of losing your hair.
How?
By taking on a healthier lifestyle. Now I know it is easy to say that when you are busy and the demands of life weigh heavily against you. So here are a few tips to help you.
Find a place at home where you can be quiet and if you have children, ask them to respect your need for quiet time.
Practise relaxation as much as possible. Take short breaks during the day to stretch your arms and back, take in a deep breath and let go of your tension.Keep a check on your diet and avoid as much as you can junk food. If you are taking vitamins make sure they have added enzymes with them otherwise they will not be absorbed and you will be wasting your money. Spend as much as you can on vitamins, the extra will be worth it because a lot of vitamins are being made in India and China and you may not get what you paid for.
Exercise at least once a week, preferably three times a week for 20 minutes to raise your pulse rate. This will improve your heart and lungs, keep you fit and decrease the reaction to stress. Exercise burns up the excess stress chemicals that build up in your body.
Cut down on smoking or give it up altogether. The NHS provide all the things you need to help you give up.
Try not to drink more than 14 units of alcohol a week.
Get plenty of sleep. Poor sleep is also an indication of stress. If you are are continually ill, it is often a sign that your body is under continual stress and needs to be taken more care of.
Shampoo your hair every day. Lets face it you clean your face every day so why not your hair. After all you take your hair in the just the same places as your face but your face may not capture the grease and trapped skin cells as your scalp so freshen it up with a good mild shampoo. One that has not got a lot of chemicals on the label.
Condition after shampooing to put the acid mantle back and to make sure the scalp doesnt feel dry.
